In a large pot, bring the milk to a boil.
Add the elbow pasta to the boiling milk and stir constantly for about 10 minutes until the pasta is cooked.
Turn off the heat, then add the cheddar to the pasta. Stir until the cheese is melted and the pasta is evenly coated. Serve immediately.
